Stop by the Discovery Center and join us for the Great Backyard Bird Count. This is a US and Canada wide event that helps determine the population health of various bird species.
You do not have to be an expert. There will be a few of those on hand willing to share their knowledge and assist in bird identification. This is a great opportunity for beginners.
Bring binoculars and water and a field guide if you have one.
WHEN: Saturday, February 17 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
WHERE: Chino Hills State Park Discovery Center at 4500 Carbon Canyon Road in Brea.
Parking is free to participants. It will be cancelled if raining or red flag winds.
